Promoting Unity through Public Interest Law- Interview with Retired Associate Judge Esteban Sanchez

Judge Sanchez retired after a long career of distinguished service in the field of public interest law during which he held positions in Sangamon County as an Assistant Public Defender, Assistant State's Attorney, Assistant United States Attorney and Associate Circuit Judge. He is a native of Puerto Rico and his personal story is an inspiration to all who have an interest in community service and the field of public interest law.

P.U.P.I.L. MISSION STATEMENT: The P.U.P.I.L. network will encourage and facilitate the pursuit of careers in public interest law by Sangamon County high school and college students to promote unity, diversity and community engagement. We will accomplish these objectives through collaborative educational opportunities, networking, mentorship and other initiatives.
